Frequently asked

Can you supply both standard and custom silicone extrusions?

Yes. Standard profiles cover the common shapes we hold in stock, and custom extrusions are made to your cross-section, length, hardness and colour - including Pantone matching.

Standard where you want speed

Standard extrusions are the shapes we already run: round, square, hollow, fin and bulb profiles in the common grades. They are the right choice when the design is settled and the priority is lead time and unit cost.

Custom where the sealing requirement is specific

Most sealing problems are not solved by a shape off the shelf. A custom cross-section lets you manage compression in a limited groove, follow an uneven flange, or keep a seal visible on a consumer-facing panel.

What "custom" covers

Cross-section profile, extrusion length, hardness, colour including Pantone reference, material grade, and secondary operations such as cutting, bonding and slotting. Anything in that list can be specified separately, so a part can be custom in colour but standard in geometry.

Moving from sample to production

We hold the die against your reference, so a reorder after six months is the same part rather than a re-tool. Revisions are made on the die drawing first, which keeps the change auditable.

Need your profile made?

Send the drawing, cross-section, material grade, hardness and target quantity. We will quote against it and tell you whether a stock profile fits or the part has to be extruded.
