After-Sales Service and What Happens If a Part Fails

How revisions, reorders and non-conforming parts are handled, and what you should expect a supplier to do when a batch is wrong.

Reorders are the real test

Anybody can make one good batch. The question is whether the tenth order matches the first. We hold the die against your reference, so a reorder months later is the same part rather than a re-tool, and the first-article measurement is still on file as the reference.

Revisions

When a design changes, the revision is made on the die drawing first and re-approved, rather than quietly adjusted on the line. That keeps the change auditable, which matters if the part is in a certified assembly.

If a batch does not conform

Tell us what failed and send the measurement or the part. Because the inspection record travels with each batch, we can check what was measured at dispatch rather than arguing about it. Non-conforming material is replaced.

Response time

Enquiries are answered within one business day. Urgent requests - a line down, a failed inspection - go to WhatsApp, where the reply is faster than email.

What we ask from you

Keep the batch reference from the packing record. It is the fastest way to trace a part back to when it was made and what was measured.

Working on something like this?

Send the drawing, cross-section, operating temperature and what the seal has to resist. We will tell you whether a stock profile fits or the part needs extruding, and quote both.
