Give inside diameter and cross-section, plus the groove dimensions if you have them. Cross-section is what fills the groove and does the sealing, so it is the dimension worth tolerancing tightly. A groove drawing is the fastest way for us to check the fit before tooling.

Moulded rings have a parting line where the two mould halves meet. On most static seals it sits away from the sealing face and causes no problem. If your design puts it on the sealing surface, flag it on the drawing so we can discuss the tooling approach.
