Bore stability matters more than burst pressure
In filtration and dosing lines the usual failure is not a burst, it is a bore that has closed or swollen enough to change the flow rate. Peristaltic pumps in particular need a tube that returns to its bore after every compression, which is a rebound property rather than a strength one.
Hardness against the fitting
A tube that is too hard will not seal on a barb; too soft and it creeps off under pressure and temperature. Give us the fitting type as well as the bore - the two have to be specified together.
Water chemistry and cleaning
Chlorinated water, ozone and periodic sanitiser flushes attack compounds differently. Tell us what goes through the line and what it is cleaned with. It is the same question as food contact, and it changes the recommendation.
Colour coding for multiple lines
Plants running several lines often colour-code the tubing to avoid cross-connection. Custom colours are available and are set at compound selection, so specify them in the first enquiry rather than after tooling.
Cut to length and packed
Tubing is supplied cut to length, coiled, or cut and bagged to your assembly requirement. Tell us how it reaches the line and we will quote the finished supply.

Working on something like this?
Send the drawing, cross-section, operating temperature and what the seal has to resist. We will tell you whether a stock profile fits or the part needs extruding, and quote both.
